Elephant Falls is a three-tiered waterfall surrounded by dense greenery, making it one of Shillong’s most photographed attractions. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your drive toward the world-famous Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its population of the iconic One-Horned Rhinoceros. The park is also home to wild elephants, swamp deer, tigers, and an incredible variety of bird species.

Enjoy a scenic journey as you descend from Meghalaya’s hills into the plains of Assam. Watch the landscape transform from pine-covered slopes to sprawling tea gardens, paddy fields, and quaint Assamese villages. En route, you may stop at local eateries to taste traditional delicacies like pitha, laal cha (red tea), and seasonal fruits.

On arrival, check in at your Kaziranga resort and relax. Spend the rest of the evening enjoying a nature walk around the property or exploring nearby tea estates. Many resorts host cultural evenings featuring Bihu or traditional tribal dance performances. Enjoy dinner at the resort followed by a comfortable overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Wake up early for the highlight of your trip—an exhilarating Elephant Safari in Kaziranga National Park’s Central Range.
